Start off by opening up steam, go to the tools tab. Then install Source SDK.

I made my own tutorial a LONG time ago, if you wanna take a look, it's extremely basic, but it'll get you started (I had to go looking for it, haha)

Don't bother lookin' at the index page of that site, it's poop and was under construction at some point and I never finished fixing it up :P
